In March 2022, during an interrogation, the agents searched his phone and inspected his Facebook account.<\/p>\n\n
Two days before his wedding in May 2022, Khaled was interrogated at the police station. The officers interrogated him again on the day of his wedding. During his honeymoon in Djerba in June 2022, officers went to his parents’ home and, as he was absent, contacted him by telephone to find out where he was. A few minutes later, a Djerba brigade contacted him by phone to summon him to the police station for questioning. He reports that the officers asked him questions about the dates of his arrival and return, the address and duration of his stay, and the places he intended to visit. He subsequently received a call from an agent of the Kef district who asked him the same questions. On his return home, he was again summoned to the police station to fill in an information sheet.<\/p>\n\n
In July, officers came to Khaled’s workplace and took him to the station for four hours of questioning. Police officers visited him again at work in August, September and October. Khaled’s wife is traumatized by the police raids.<\/p>\n\n
SANAD Elhaq has instructed a lawyer to lodge an appeal for excess of power with the administrative court in order to put an end to this intensive harassment.<\/p>\n\n
Hundreds, if not thousands, of men and women, like Khaled, are registered as \u201cS\u201d and subject to administrative controls without any legal basis.
